A new search site.
Someone may know a better place to put this....
It is the Sydney Benevolent Asylum. If you require more info, it is free. Often the unmarried mums had to name the baby's father as well, although you couldn't be sure that was the correct person...lol http://www.sydneybenevolentasylum.co...e=search-index

I've just emailed them about one name. I'll let people know how long it takes to get a response.
But reading the website there wont be a lot more info, it has to be looked up at the Mitchell Library and a letter form the benevolent society is needed to do so.
