Default Access to Ancestry trees?

Do you need a subscription to view public Ancestry trees?

I have had a query from a Cornish descendant in Chile about his ancestors. I have made quite an extensive tree for him and I doubt very much whether he has a family history program. If he were able to view it, I could put it on Ancestry for him.

Not if you put it up and invite him to view it.

Here are some Ancestry support pages which give further information:

Thanks, both of you.

I'll send the link to him. Only trouble is that his native tongue is Spanish and his English isn't particularly good.

Yes, that's what I've done so that relatives with no Ancestry sub can access it.

Thanks, Julie and Mary. I haven't used Tribal Pages for years. I'll give it a try.
