Some photographs i managed recently
Some of you will probably have noticed i haven't been online on any of the sites much recently, i have still done a bit of research though and have a new Flickr page with some headstone images etc. I'm adding to it all the time but thought you might like the sentiment and detail on this one
http://www.flickr.com/photos/5012573...85042/sizes/o/ The link is direct to the photograph but you should be able to view the other images by clicking my photostream from the same page. |

It's one of half a dozen stones in one churchyard and there are another four or five in nearby villages. The oldest legible ones i have found for my lot date back to the 1720's and 1730's plus one with an eight line verse in a churchyard just off the A1 near Grantham.
Just wish i could find the baptism for the chap born 1677. Been looking for years now without success!!! |

How lucky you are to have found them in such good condition.

Along with three cousins of varied distances to me they now have a few sets of images to look through depending on their family line. Heaps more to add to it yet but from an 1860's group family picture (from the ever expanding Goulson set) to my birth parents in the 1940's and 1960's there is something for my rellies to see, share and add too.
The Goulson set including the 1860 pic at http://www.flickr.com/photos/5012573...7624085752292/

I now have a new set, it comprises some images that have been used in other sets but the main aim is to show 6 consecutive generations of my family (including me and my daughter). They have been gathered together over the last four or so years but never been put "side by side" so to speak.
