I've done that and found a new "cousin".

Wow, you're lucky, Gwynne. Does it show how you're related in the "Family Networks", or is your relationship "outside the network" or however they put it? And how long did you have to wait to get a match?

It told me she was a 2nd - 5th cousin. We were in touch within a day of me adding the data. She's my second cousin once removed.

She doesn't have much info, she had it done for her half sister's benefit who is a keen genealogist. Sadly the half sister isn't a blood relative.

But is this actually on Living DNA / FMP, Gwynne, or is it perhaps Family Tree DNA which is a completely separate company? Living DNA usually takes months to come up with anything and it has a system called Family Networks for matches, but many people haven't got any matches at all yet on there.

Ah, right. I don't think I've seen that one. Found another cousin this afternoon.
