Of Mary all I know is that she and Ayers had 5 children bapt at Lambourne, Berkshire from 1733-1740 and she was buried there on 1 Mar 1750, wife of Ayers abode “Est” [Eastbury, their abode on the children's bapts)

FMP has a marriage licence bond transcription for Aires Spicer of Lambourn, Berks, and Mary Quelch of Stoke, Oxfordshire, 13 Sep 1732. Marriage place Abingdon.

Only just seen your reply and funnily enough my son has just given me the Oxford FHS cd for Abingdon for my birthday, have just looked it up on there they married at St Helen same date as the licence, I'd got it to untangle my Badcocks little suspecting to find other ancestors. (They've called him Aries)

Ayers was the executor of his father's will in 1732, which also helps pinpoint his father's burial which was 1731 not 1738 which everyone including me thought. It also names his mother as Elizabeth, and four siblings.
