Have you got the names of the witnesses from Sophia and Thomas's wedding, Wendy? I was just wondering whether a brother or sister of Sophia's could have been a witness, which might help to confirm whether William and Jane were her parents.

One Witness was Jane Weaving, which could be her mother or a sister.
It was a double wedding with Thomas's sister Hannah. Sophia's surname was written as Weaver on Pallots Marriages, and Weaven in the Register, although a child's birth certificate states Weaving.
