Ann Taylor daughter of Charles and Gertrude de Winter baptised 2 feb 1790. I'm pretty sure it should be George.

Found the marriage: George Taylor, Widower, married Geertruy de Winter, from Alkmaar, 2 April 1780 in Haarlem. Application was made 19 March. Witnesses were William Kent and Maria Fritsen.

Yes. You probably already saw this but I'll point out that directly to the left of this entry on the opposing page, there is the entry for "Charles, son of George Taylor and Gertrude..." so it's pretty easy to imagine how the writer slipped the wrong name, Charles instead of George, into Ann's record.

Thank you all so much for your help and tips. I have now found baptisms for John, Charles Reynier, Wouteris and Joseph Ranging from 1780 to 1793. Still no Ann or Hannah. Also have found Reynier Taylor living in Stamford hill up to his death in 1857.
All the help has been appreciated

I think the entry for Ann with the "wrong" father could be correct person.

I have, at last, triumphed and failed!

Triumphed, because I finally got to see the microfilm, and the initial letter IS R, failed because the images I copied did not get through to my mailbox.

Being Death Duties, there are so many additional pieces of information, including what look like dates of death for some of the children!
