Default Marriages
I should know the answer to this but I don't.

I am checking for marriages post 1982. Freebmd doesn't do them. Are there any searchable indexes anywhere and if so, is it possible to search by first name only? (An unusual one!)

Ancestry and FMP both do them.

Ancestry or Findmypast, and either will let you search by first name only.

Ancestry marriage index 1916-2005
Findmypast marriage index 1837-2005
