The ref to 'identical twins' made me smile! Just because they were both girls doesn't preclude them being fraternal! Also a common surname like Barker could mean they were not even related.

Merry, I was at school with twins, fraternal girls. Weirdly, they had identical twin brothers. One girl went on to have boy/girl twins. And you are right - I once found what I thought were twins, same page ref but baptisms showed different mother's maiden names.
