Looking for a directory entry
Edward Newman was admitted to the Freedom of the City of London in 1846, saying that he carried on the business of contractor at 5 Sun Square, Sun Street, Bishopsgate - on the borders with Shoreditch, roughly where Liverpool Street station is now.
https://www.ancestry.co.uk/interacti...&usePUBJs=true I hoped to find an entry for the Sun Square address in a Directory but so far haven't had any luck - can anyone find any reference to it? (Although he was in the Company of Loriners, he was actually a dust contractor so it was probably a yard of some sort) |
