I know this isn't the direction you are going in, but I would be interested in the cause of death of the boys. I have a brother and sister whose deaths are within a week of each other. He died of bronchitis and his death certificate makes clear that this was a long term condition, but his sister died of typhoid and I can't help feeling that that was his actual cause of death.

If the boys also died of inflammation of the lungs, it would have been some thing much more fast acting than tb.
