His age is 59 on the 1861, not 49, Nell. Could his occupation be Flueman? It has his birthplace as Aberdare Glamorgan on that one but I would think Brecon is more likely to be right.

I got a bit confused between censuses! Thanks KiteRunner, I've amended it.

Flueman makes more sense. I also think he was born in Brecon but its another one of the queries that will have to wait till the Welsh registers are online.
