I've not watched WDYTYA for many years, mainly because it would make me so mad that when the celeb made assumptions about their ancestors, through a lack of understanding of the records, they were rarely given any alternative by the supposed expert. Grrrrr!!

I fell asleep during the sword waving. Pointless filler. *grumble*
Quite dull, really. I loathe Walliams so not sure I'll be able to watch him.

Oooh Gwynne, perhaps it was the sword waving that some viewers might find upsetting, lol.

Oh, the sword waving bit really annoyed me, mainly because we were treated to the usual (seemingly obligatory) WDYTYA politically correct shuddering and muttering about what terrible things our ancestors did, applying modern day thinking to an earlier age.
She really blackened the poor old employer's name didn't she, practically saying he was a paedophile without any evidence whatsoever. I hope none of his descendants were watching! |

I felt the same about employer, & I actually have a case of that happening in my family!
Why would she jump to that conclusion? She cited the age difference - nothing unusual in that, I'd say. Also found parts of it quite boring - livened up a bit with the Auckland siide though. |

Lol, that was when I fell asleep! I thought that was boring and I always find WW1 ancestors on WDYTYA boring too. All in all it didn't have a lot going for it for me! |
