When John died in 1843 the minister was writing info on some of the burials (wife/widow/child of etc) but I can't see Sarah's burial to see if there's anything for her.

Oh and her brother John, below, who was married (prob) to a Jane, but we don't know for sure it's the 1808 marrage.

I couldn't see any obvious children for John and Jane who married in 1808.

Between the fires that seem to plague every Dorset town I'm interested in, the way labourers seem to zig-zag round the country and my lack of knowledge of the area and its geography, I feel stymied at every turn.

The John-Jane marriage, whoever they were, links Blandford Forum with Bere Regis. A cousin (small c!) has decided that "my" John's father Thomas and his forebears came from Blandford. This is probably true, but I just can't get a handle on it.
