Ancestry lists him at Saddlehill, Fetteresso in 1851, age 69, crofter of 8 acres, born Fetteresso, with wife Mary age 59 born "Kinneff, Kincardineshire" and son Adam 22 ag lab born Fetteresso.

Thanks, KiteRunner, I thought I had printed off the 1851 census but it's gone awol.
