His father died in Axbridge, Somerset just before his birth and his mother moved back to Winchester with his toddler brother to be near her parents when she gave birth. Date and place of baptism – 4 January 1814, St Maurice, Winchester, Hampshire Details of each of his or her marriages – to Margaret Harrison, 17 July 1836, St Anne, Soho, London Occupation(s) – Cabinet maker Addresses where they lived (including county if in UK) - and please list which censuses you have or haven't found him/her on (if s/he lived in census times!). Lived in Winchester, Hampshire for most of his life and died there, although his son was born in Camden Town, London in September 1837. Date, place and cause of death – 17 August 1838, High Street, St Maurice, Winchester. Cause of death – Consumption. Date and place of burial. – 23 August 1838, St Maurice, Winchester, Hampshire. Details of will / administration of their estate - unknown Memorial inscription - unknown

I was looking for a will for any Tivers, Sue. I didn't find one, but did find this:

Thanks Elizabeth. They refer to his mother, Mary Ann Tivers (Carter) and his grandfather Richard Carter. I do have Mary Ann's will.
