Another Randolph - death in Ireland
Also on the piece of paper I mentioned on the other thread is this:
William Randolph died 15th Feb.y 1822 at Sea on board the Brazen Frigate Buried at Castle Town on ? the ? coast of Ireland 1822 1790 aged 32 I think he is the brother of Richard Randolph who married Jane Parrott. Their parents were Thomas and Elizabeth Randolph. Elizabeth's maiden name was Rose and Jane Parrott who married Richard Randolph (her son) was both her aunt and her mother-in-law. I think he died of natural causes. The Brazen is mentioned here: https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=...and%22&f=false It was in harbour in 1822, but I'm not sure where. Are there any burial records for Ireland where I might find him? Last edited by ElizabethHerts; 30-11-19 at 20:37. |

It might not be easy to find his burial record, but this looks to be his will:

There is a William Randolph in the British Royal Navy & Royal Marines Service And Pension Records, 1704-1919 on Findmypast but you would have to view the image to see whether it is the right one.

Thanks. I saw the will but it mentions no-one I know of, so research needed.
