First bit of useful info in the newsletter for some time for me, the quicker way of finding the images on SEAX from Ancestry's indexing. Really pleased to see that since with the larger parishes its sometimes difficult to find the entries where the clerk wrote different dates all over the place. Early Harwich registers is one example of this.

"...the death indexes don’t give the age at birth before 1866." Does anyone care to tell him? |

lol Janet! I remember reading that phrase, but all I took from it was that the year was 1866 and sometimes I think, is it 1868 or 1866? So, I was pleased for the confirmation of the year!!
