Babs, our digital signal is playing up again tonight. I'll be glad when the change-over happens.

Babs, do you have any more information about the marriage than that Faculty Office Marriage Licences entry? And is that the only place you have the surname Drew from? I'm just wondering if you're sure it's the right marriage?

Babs, if Kate is correct, perhaps this is the marriage:

Year: 1804
Supplied Surname: KING
Surname: KING
Full First name: Anne
Supplied First Name: An
Spouse Surname: SIMONS
Spouse Full First name: John
Spouse First Name: Jn
Place: COWLINGE
County: Suffolk
Record source:Boyd's Marriage Index 1538-1840

I'm trying to find possible children from the marriage, Babs. Which ones do you know of?

Here's one:

Name: Thomas Simons
Gender: Male
Baptism/Christening Date: 1814
Baptism/Christening Place: , COWLINGE, SUFFOLK, ENGLAND
Father's Name: John Simons
Mother's Name: Ann
Indexing Project (Batch) Number: C13222-1

This looks like the BT for the same one, but no place:
Name: Thomas Simons
Gender: Male
Baptism/Christening Date: 02 Oct 1814
Baptism/Christening Place: SUFFOLK COUNTY BTS, SUFFOLK, ENGLAND
Father's Name: John Simons
Mother's Name: Ann
Indexing Project (Batch) Number: C13222-1

It just seemed unlikely that they would have a Faculty Office Marriage Licence. The marriage that Elizabeth found looks much likelier.
