Wills transcription website
A contact of mine and a great will transcriber has greatly missed (as I have) the Wills Transcription website which was taken down because of the ill health of the owner.
She has now just launched a new website. http://wills.digital-ink.co.uk/ I shall be adding wills that I haven't been able to find a home for. The more we upload, the more useful the site will be, so I hope the website takes off.

I uploaded one will but it seems to have teething problems at the moment.
I expect they will have to deal with a few technical issues while they are launching it.

There are 371 wills on the website now, and more being added every time I look.
It will have a new address in time, and I will post it here.

UPDATE
The previous address was a temporary address when the website was being set up. It still works but the official address is now www.transcribedwills.co.uk There are now 941 wills uploaded to the site and more being added every day, so keep an eye on it and upload your own wills. It has the potential to be a very useful resource. I am uploading the wills I have transcribed for counties where there is no repository for transcriptions.
