Default Alexander Wilson

My father's mother's mother's father's father.

Name:
Alexander Wilson

Date and place of birth:
About 1808 in Tarbolton, Ayrshire, Scotland

Names of parents:
John Wilson and Janet Drennan

Date and place of baptism:
Not found

Details of each of his or her marriages:
Alexander never married Abigail Stewart but had two children with her (well I’ve never found any evidence of a marriage and Alexander always put unmarried on census even when his son James was living with him and named James as his son also marital status single on Alexander's death certificate) His children with Abigail - James Wilson born 1830 and Janet Wilson born 1831 and I think Abigail died young possibly quite soon after Janet’s birth but have no idea what happened to her really she disappeared why they never married I don't know it's not like Alexander ran off and she had two children with him. Not sure Janet ever lived with Alexander in 1841 she lived with a great uncle called Robert Drennan and his family http://search.ancestry.co.uk/cgi-bin...26pgPLz0q3dpid but James did live with Alexander as you can see from the census below.

Occupation:
Miner

Addresses where they lived (including county if in UK)

Tarholm, Tarbolton, Ayrshire, Scotland - 1841 Census

Date, place and cause of death:
7th April 1872 at 9 Craighall, Coylton, Ayrshire, Scotland cause of death Asthma and valvular disease of the heart death registered by his son James Wilson

Date and place of burial:
Not known

Details of will / administration of their estate:
Not known

Memorial inscription:
Not known

Edit to say: Thought I'd have another go at finding Abigail - just found Abigail's burial totally mistranscribed as Alugail Stuart after trawling through and spending quite a few credits - it quite clearly says Abigail Stewart she was interred 14th March 1839 Tarbolton Ayrshire I believe this is her burial she died at Burnbrae which is where Janet Wilson was born in 1831 and was living in 1841 and where James was born in 1830 - never understood why Abigail and Alexander never married.
