John Mealing, baptised 15 Sep 1805, Guiting Power, Gloucestershire
son of Abraham Mealing and Mary, nee Sadler.

John married Mary Wells 06 Aug 1834, Barnsley, Gloucestershire

John 75, Mary 69, plus two people whose relationship is unknown, but who appear to be lodgers: Joyce Taylor, 66, widow, no occupation, born Combend - further up on same page are another Taylor family, and Elizabeth Griffin 72 b. Gloucester, also no occupation.

12 August 1884 Cirencester U.S.D. Agricultural labourer of Rendcombe.
Committed suicide by cutting his throat with a razor - lived 20 days. Certificate received from A.J. Morton Bell, coroner for Gloucestershire. Inquest held 13th August 1884. Registered 15th August 1884.

Found a newspaper account that says poor John was nursed at home by his daughter [Sarah] Ann Morgan, but removed against his and his relatives' wishes to the Workhouse where he died.
