Default Wisconsin tombstone photos

I've just come across this site, which is an excellent resource for anyone with ancestors in Wisconsin.

http://www.usgwarchives.net/wi/cemetery/

If you don't find a person in this site, it's worth checking http://www.findagrave.com and http://www.interment.net , both of which have a lot of Wisconsin burials.

You browse by county. If you don't know which county the town is in, you should be able to find it by googling. Then you get a list of all the towns in that county, and the cemeteries in each town, and you click on the name of the cemetery to get the full list of burials for that cemetery in alphabetical order.

If you want to do an exact search for Fred Bloggs, put the following into Google:

"Fred Bloggs" Wisconsin site: www.usgwarchives.net

Another useful Wisconsin link if you haven't come across it is this one, which has some pre-1907 BMDs:
