Not sure f this should go here but thought I should let you know about the closure and move.

Closure notice - Worcestershire History Centre is closing
From 21st April 2012 the History Centre branch will be closed to enable us to prepare to move premises.
Join us at our new home in the Hive in July 2012. You can follow the progress of our move on our blog.


I think as the Hive is part of the University complex it could be more difficult to walk in and request a fiche/film reader so booking in advance may be essential.

Do you know if there will be parking there, Daphne?

Not sure about that, was talking about that with a friend and are thinking not. There's parking just across the road at the race course paid of course as well as a couple of other car parks near by. The bus station is quite close too and that's how I will go to it. It's not far from Foregate Street railway station too.
