I did a general search, Merry, and found this:
http://search.ancestry.co.uk/cgi-bin...iv=1&ml_rpos=2 No indication that it is a Quaker record. |

According to the Ancestry Quaker records that John was born on 28 October 1782 in Wood St., parish of St Albans, City of London, son of John Tylor brazier and his wife Elizabeth.

I think that was his brother, Mary. Merry was looking for information on Robert.

With that information I've also found your Robert in the Quaker records, listed as Robert Brazier
Born 13 May 1779, register signed by William Wavell manmidwife and Jane Horn?, nurse. All the other information as for John. Last edited by Mary from Italy; 01-03-15 at 19:32. |

Yes, but I thought the parents' details might come in useful.

Thanks you so much, Mary and Elizabeth! I must have seen that brazier entry when I searched with just forenames, but it didn't click about the father's occupation though I did already know that!
Reminds me of when I searched far and wide trying to discover what the occupation 'hope merchant' meant, only later to discover the entry actually said, '...of the Cape of Good Hope, Merchant' Thanks again!
