Default Looking for David George Godwin in 1901

David George Godwin (surname often written as Godden) was born in 1853 at Catherington, Hampshire. His birth was registered in Q2 and he was baptised at the parish church on 1st May 1853. His parents were John and Ruth Godden/Godwin.

David married Alice Hayward in 1883 in the Havant reg. district.

He died in 1902 in the Westbourne reg. district in Sussex.

I can't find him in 1901. In 1861 he was on the census as George.

Can any sharp eyes see him in 1901?

There's an Alice and George Godwin on Ancestry in Westbourne district. His place of birth is Bedhampton, Hampshire, England and aged 40.

Do you need fmp though?

Ooh, thanks, Merry. I'm not sure how I missed that. No, Ancestry is fine.

It must be him. I wish this family would decide which name they are going to use and stick to it!
