Help finding Albon Stanbridge please in 1871, 1891 and 1901?
Unusual name, probably horrific mistranscriptions.

This is what happens when men don't get married lol!
Erm, isn't Little Compton in Warwickshire? (near the boarder? or does it swap from side to side?!)

It swaps Merry. I have found it listed as both on the same census.

Was his father William?
Jackson's Oxford Journal (Oxford, England), Saturday, January 26, 1861; Issue 5622 Thomas Bamford was charged with having assaulted Mr Stanbridge, innkeeper of the Red Lion Inn, Little Compton; the defendant pleaded guilty and was fined 10s inc costs. Jackson's Oxford Journal (Oxford, England), Saturday, July 16, 1859; Issue 5542 William was President of the Little Compton Friendly Association in 1859 Jackson's Oxford Journal (Oxford, England), Saturday, May 7, 1864; Issue 5793 Reuben Stanbridge of Little Compton was charged by Police constable Quarterman with leaving his horse and cart on the highway at Enstone; fined 10s inc costs; paid. None of which finds Albon at all!! lol

I can find both a William and a John Stanbridge who could be siblings as born a few years before in Little Compton.
Unless Albon got fed up with having to spell his name to the enumerator: "A-L-B-A , no no no no. A-L-B-O-R, no no nono. Oh darn it, just put John"

Have you cinsidered Reuben STanbridge in 1871 as a possible enumerator error?

I've tried searching using FMP in case their transcriptions were better but no luck.
