Thanks Peppie.

I am looking for Charles Mealing/Melins and his wife Mary Ann. They were living in Glamorgan, Wales in 1881 but by 1882 had moved to Illinois.

Would you be able to find their ship's passengers' listing to Illinois (I think they went from Liverpool) and also see if they appear on US census?

Charles was born Rendcomb(e), Gloucestershire 1838 and Mary Ann was born 1849 in Monmouthshire, Wales.

Many thanks.

I've got them Sharon, thank you, but they are too small to read and when I magnify them they aren't clear enough!

No Idea why that seems to happen.... I use picassa to open them which seems to make them big...
