I forget to mention that the Nearer Hall or Nether Hall is the Old Hall located off Rabbit Lane at Mottram!

Thank you for your posts, HH, and the pm. Yes, I am still researching this family as they are my husband's ancestors. I am very excited that you have so much information.
I will also reply to your pm (private message) and give you my e-mail address. Thank you so much for posting. |

Hollingworth of Tintwistle m Anne Hyde
Re a post in September 2017 from someone logged in as "Hollingworth Hall" who is a descendant of the Hollingworth clan:
I am interested in John H who m secondly Anne Hyde and whose will gave rise to Chancery cases. Especially - but not only - his connections with the Dearnaley and Reddish families. And his first wife? I would be very grateful for any contact or information. I am new to this forum so not expert at sending posts and/or messages! |

I have the will of Alice Hudson (Hyde). I'm very rusty on this family as I haven't looked at them recently.

In 1872 Broadbottom was described as a suburb of Mottram in Mottram parish, Cheshire.
