Default Joseph Kettle or Kethel (OH's FFMMFF)

Name - "official" name and what they were known as
Joseph Kettle (also Kethel and Kethell)
also has been recorded as Cathel/Cathal


Date and place of birth
not known, probably Perth, Scotland (maybe Scone)

Names of parents
Date and place of baptism - if applicable
not known

Details of each of his or her marriages - if any
married Jean Anderson, 9 Jul 1786, Scone, Perth, Scotland

Occupation(s) - if any
Addresses where they lived (including county if in UK) - and please list which censuses you have or haven't found him/her on (if s/he lived in census times!).

According to the IGI four children baptised in Scone
Jean 1787, Anne 1789, William 1792, George 1796
(William's eldest son was Joseph Anderson Kethel)

It's possible that the OPR images for Joseph and Jean's marriage and for their children's baptisms might give you more information, such as Joseph's occupation, possibly names of relatives.

Hi Kite,

Yes I probably should buy some more credits - I've sort of been waiting until they have another free offer.

I've got lots of census transcriptions but not many OPRs. I don't remember if OPRs have occupation as early as the 1790s though.

It just depends on the particular parish, Diane, some do have lots of info and some don't.
