Names of parents – Thomas Smart Dibley and Sarah Lavell
Date and place of baptism – 27 Jun 1807, St George the Martyr, Southwark
Details of each of his or her marriages
1) Sarah Sadd - No marriage found, only banns read at St Mary Lambeth, Surrey in Sept 1830
2)Charlotte Rosa Biggs (nee Buckland) 25 Dec 1837, St Mary Newington, Surrey
Occupation(s) - Carpenter
Addresses where they lived (including county if in UK) -
1841 Tiverton St, Newington, Surrey
1851 “Visiting” a widow named Jane Sheldrick @ Boro Rd Southwark
1861 Belvedere Place Southwark allegedly with wife Esther but no marriage found
1871 Crampton St, Southwark (transcribed as Sibley) Esther Sheldrick “visiting”

Question – are Jane Sheldrick (1851), Esther Dibley (1861) and Esther Sheldrick (1871) the same woman?

I stumbled across this old thread while looking for one of my own TOGG3 threads and couldn't resist having a dig

There's a death for Jane Sheldrick Q4 1874 at St Saviour, age 74 so the right age to be the Jane Sheldrick on the 1851 census. Could you get the death cert. to see who the informant was in case it's your Joseph?

Also a likely marriage for her - William Sheldrick and Jane Simmons, Lambeth St Mary 1824. One of the witnesses is ESTHER Sexton?? I'm not sure whether that's significant or not!

Lindsay - I've only just spotted this whilst posting about Joseph's mother for TOGG4!

That Jane Sheldrick death certainly looks likely and the marriage intriuging. I'll investigate further....
