Default FMP's newspapers are not available

I couldn't find them on the menu, and then I saw a note that they were temporarily unavailable.

Yes, someone mentioned that on my "is ancestry broken" thread at the weekend, Elizabeth. There seemed to be quite a few FMP databases not working the other day when I did a search on there.

They have not been available since Friday

I did ask on their Facebook page on Saturday for an update and they said it was because the actual newspaper site was down so they had switched the facility off so that users could access their other records without issues. They have kept saying "it wont be long now" since Friday.

I wonder what they mean by the actual newspaper site? The British Newspaper Archive site's working normally,

I wondered too and thought maybe they were covering themselves by shifting the blame. Today they've replied to someone saying the fault was with 'the supplier'
