William Wells died 1847 so Sarah would be a widow at this time. 1861 RG9 1796 46 p.6 Cubberley, Glos. Sarah Wells widow, age 77, with son-in-law William Smith, daughter Sarah Smith and grandchildren Hannah, Walter & Andrew death 30 July 1870 at Cubberley, Glos, age 87, of senectus, Sarah Wells, widow of William Wells, farm labourer. Informant, grandson Richard Smith. burial & memorial not found
