I've looked at them too, Elizabeth, but Susanna was 65 when she died in Feb 1841, so born 1775/6 - too young for a 1783 marriage!

I don't know if it's significant, but in 1871, in the house in Penge where Harriet's daughter is living, there's also a household headed by Benjamin Mannering, born Upchurch Kent. I've often wondered if he's a relative, and if so whether Thomas and Susanna came from the same place.
