National Probate Calendar look-up request
Could somebody kindly check a couple of entries in the NPC on Ancestry for me?
I'm interested in Emily Elizabeth Gibbon who died in Staunton, Gloucestershire in 1870. I should like to know if she made a will, or if it's just an admon. Also her father Alexander Gibbon, same place and year; I know from other sources that his was an admon, but I'm interested to know whether there was a will annexed. Mary |

Oh, just seen the 1881 date. It looked as though there were two entries for Alexander on Ancestry (my sub's run out, so I can't look at the image); presumably the first one was the admon to his niece Maria Beaumont.

Do you want Maria Catherine Beaumont's as well?

That'd be interesting if you have time, thanks. I'm only directly related to Emily and her mother, not to Maria, but I'm curious to know who eventually inherited. I expected the estate to be a lot bigger, though - Alexander was trustee to the Bowes-Lyon family, and supposed to be pretty well off.
