No, there's a John Simins (Simino on ancestry) age 63 at Wickhambrook on the 1841 census with some Cookes so he'll probably be the one buried in 1851.

There's a death registration for a John Symonds Jul-Sep 1843 Risbridge vol 12 p 247 and another one Apr-Jun 1847 Risbridge vol 12 p 327.

Did your John and Ann have a son John born about 1817-18 Cowlinge? Because there is a John Simonds age 33 at Cowlinge on the 1851 census (with wife Mary Ann, children Henry, Caroline, Ann and Ellen) and he has his widowed mother Ann there, her age has been transcribed as 96 but I think it must be supposed to say 76 as she would be way too old to be his mother if she was 96. Her birthplace is Stradishall.
