WWI Question about war graves and memorials

I am probably being very thick here but...

On the War Graves Photographs site I have located someone.

On the Cemetary bit it says Ypres Menin Gate memorial does that mean that he doesn't actually have a grave just his name on Panel 52.

I am assuming thats the case can someone verify this.

I've answered my own question that that is the case.

If men are named on the Menin Gate or other such memorials, then there is no known grave for them.

Thats ok, it makes a change to know the answer to a question.

I do have another question.

How can I tell which battle he was killed in?

16th August 1917 obviously in Ypres area.

I think I've answered this question again myself sorry to be such a pain.

Third Battle of Ypres... Battle of Langemarck possibly.
