Lucy Lurring
If ever there was a name made to be mistranscribed, lol!
My relly's widower, Walter Charles Cross, marries a Lucy Lurring 14th Feb 1854 at Paddington parish church (London). His occupation licensed victualler. Her father William Lurring, a gardener. This is Walter with his first wife and son in 1851: 30 Oxenden St., St Martin in the Fields, London Walter C Cross Head M 36 Licensed Victualler City of London Charlotte Do Wife M 33 Somerset Bath Walter C Do Son U 4 City of London Can anyone find Walter and / or Lucy after their marriage, or find a likely Lucy before the marriage so I can see where she was born, please?

I haven't managed to find Lucy with her parents but I think this could be her in 1841
Lucy Luning age 20 St Marylebone born out of county HO107, piece 679, book 3, folio 4, page 52 and in 1851 Lucy Luning age 31 born Rochford, Essex HO107, piece 1488, folio 369, page 47. This could be her in 1861 as a widow Lucy Cross age 43 b Ro(t)chford Essex RG9 piece 745, folio 150, page 43 Jackie
