Can someone restore or clean up the fo;;owing pictures that I have have just been sent from cousin in USA please ;;

removed the date (bottom right), sharpened a little etc.

Hi Babs
The problem is that the scan is not good.
As Wendy already said, the resolution is low which means that the image is badly pixellated
(all those little squares/rectangles which look like texture).

The only way to get rid of them results in a blurred image.

The solution would be to get your cousin to rescan at 300 dpi.

Hmmmmph ~ it's so frustrating isn't it.
For almost 4 years I've been on the trail of some pics of my gt gt grandparents.
A distant cousin in NZ sent me copies of photocopies ~ it was great to have them but the quality is pretty bad and there is absolutely no way of improving them.

Another photocopy she sent shows 2 women and 2 children who we can not identify. One of the children also appears in a photo I have, so we know there's some family connection but who they are, remains a mystery

At the beginning of this year, cousin, gave me the email address of another cousin who said she had the original photos and it was about a month ago that she finally emailed to me to say that she doesn't have them at all !

So it's back to square one ..........

I would be saying Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Rachel lol yes its very flustrating but at least these are only cousins of my GG Gradfather so at least not direct line so to speak ;;
