Default Sarah Sandys

Sarah Sandys, born c1856 - haven't found a birth cert or a baptism, but census say either Middlesex or Lambeth.

Parents = Basil Sandys and Catherine Birmingham/Gillispie/Otter

Married = 25/12/1876 at St. John the Baptist, Hoxton, Middlesex to Herbert Richardson.

Lived at various addresses around Westminster and Lambeth.

Have been unable to find a death for Sarah, also can't find her on the 1911 census. Husband Herbert died in 1905 but Sarah wasn't the informant on the death cert.
Last known sighting for Sarah was the 1901 census.

Hi Sue

Is it a possibility that by 1911 she was in a Workhouse so may be listed under her initials in 1911 ?

Joan that never occurred to me at all, shall have to investigate the possibility.
Trouble is she might be like her mother Catherine, she disappeared after the 1871 census never to be seen again.
