Elizabeth thank you for the links. What a shame about the Layston Church. Mind you I am suprised it hasn't been deconsecrated and sold on before now.

Kiterunner. I am awaiting a copy of the marriage register entry so can't say who the witnesses were at the moment. I will update this thread when I receive the entry.
