Watched this at lunchtime today and enjoyed it. Without being anything like my own family, her tree had several elements that are also in mine: immigrants into America, Jewish and Irish roots. In Rashida's case they were all one and the same whereas mine are separate branches but I still found it interesting. I had never heard of Rashida Jones although I have heard of her father Quincey. She came across as intelligent and level-headed, a nice person. Good programme I thought.

I had heard of her because she was a regular in a series called "Wanted" that we watched on ITV a few years ago, but I didn't know she was Quincy Jones's daughter. Yes, good episode.

That marriage certificate they were looking at in Ireland seemed to be a Scottish one, but they never mentioned that?
