Giles...
Once again, my Scottish lot are doing daft things with names. I've come across a note in the Campbeltown records from the late 18th century which states that girls previously named Giles will thereafter be called Julia.
Arrrggghhh! Would it help people with Scottish roots if I compile a list of first name changes?
