Default Scotland’s People

Is anyone having trouble with this site?
I’ve sent a message so I should get an answer next week, if they are working.

Trying to remember where I found a name. One on SP, but it doesn’t show on image, just on index.

I've not had any trouble accessing the site Libby, although last week I couldn't print off the image but following day I could.

What problem have you had?

I can access, but when I open the image, I cannot see the person who is supposed to be there. The images are quite faint and 1720s writing, but have still searched two now without finding the name that is supposed to be there. I’ve sent them a message.

Sometimes you get the wrong image. It has happened to me before, and when I contacted them, they gave me the right one. It was a long time ago, though.

Sorry- it could quite well be an error as Kite says.
Unfortunately I am useless at reading OPR's so when I do find the right line I use a highlighter at the end of the row to show me where to look.

I have a Will written in pencil which I just can't read - its long and I've I even increased the size to A3 so have given up on it.

I've found them to be very good when there is a problem. I bought an image and the name was not there. They searched a few images either side and then emailed me the correct one. I may have even received a refund as well. It has been a while since I used the website though.
