Default Elizabeth Coe

Married Richard Bangay in Saxlingham in 1795.

Probably the daughter of John Coe but baptism dates don't stack up with age at burial. Will check and add details when I have a bit of time.

Baptised 15 October 1770 in Saxlingham, Norfolk, daughter of John Coe & Martha nee Bullard.

Her husband Richard was a blacksmith

Buried 9 October 1840 aged 70 at Thornage, Norfolk

I have seen, but do not possess a copy of, her death cerificate. She died of fever, and I thought her age was given as 67. Looking closely at the dates, I wonder if it said 69?

Two of her grandchildren had died of virulent typhus fever about a year earlier.

Marriage was 9 April 1795, after banns called 15,22 & 29 March.

Elizabeth could sign her name. (Richard couldn't)

Witnesses were Juby Thompson & Wm Bangey.
