Default Henry Palmer (mfmf)

Name : Henry Palmer.
Date and place of birth:3 April 1831 at Walton Baptist Church nr Trimley, Suffolk.
Names of parents:James Palmer and Julia Stegall.
Date and place of baptism :None.
Details of each of his marriages :
17th October 1852 to Cassandra Smith (baptised as Cassandra Lee) at the Register Office, Ipswich, Suffolk.
5th November 1871 to Susannah Graystone nee Smith (cousin of his 1st wife Cassandra) at the Register Office, Ipswich, Suffolk
Occupation: Mariner, Donkeyman on Railway boats.
Addresses where they lived:
1841 Church Lane, St Matthew, Ipswich, Suffolk.
1851 Church Lane, St Matthew, Ipswich, Suffolk He was also recorded on the 1851 census as a boarder with his future mother in law Cassandra Smith.
1861 Cottage, South Town, Gorleston, Suffolk with wife Cassandra and three children.
1871 Not found on this census. He was a widower. As a mariner, he was probably at sea. Between the death of Cassandra and his marriage to Susannah, the two families appear to be in disarray. It was found on the 1871 census that Susannah Graystone, widow, with two of her children, Anne 10 and Henry 5, together with three of Henry’s children Cassandra 10, Arthur 6 and Oliver 4 and Susannah's Grandmother, Elizabeth Smith were living 4 Albion Street, Ipswich. Susannah’s eldest daughter Rosa Graystone and Julia Ann, Henry Palmer’s daughter were found together at a Children’s Home at 15 Lower Brook St, Ipswich and Oliver Graystone, age 7, was found in The Home For Little Boys, Horton Kirkby and Darenth, Kent. His son Henry Charles drowned in the Atlantic Ocean on 11 Oct 1871. Henry Charles was an apprentice on the "Nonpareil" during a voyage either to or from East Indies.
1881 Henry was aboard 'Avalon' as a donkeyman and his wife, Susannah, was living at 2 Hordle St, Dovercourt with the children - Henry's boys Arthur and Oliver from his first marriage, Susannah's son Henry from her first marriage and their own daughter Lillie.
1891 33 Victoria Terr, Dovercourt, a widower.
1901 33 Victoria Terrace, Dovercourt.
1911 Sunnyside, Cliff Rd, Dovercourt.
Date, place and cause of death: Henry died aged 86 on 4th May 1917 at 14 Cliff Rd Dovercourt. Retired Donkeyman on Railway boats. Annie Green, stepdaughter, also of 14 Cliff Rd was present at his death. Cause of death was 1) acute Bronchitis and 2) Senile decay.
Date and place of burial: 8 May 1917, All Saints' Church, Dovercourt, Essex.
Details of will/administration of their estate - if applicable :unknown

The idea I think is to put anything you find up on here so others know you have found them and saves them from wasting time looking for queries that are already covered.
