FMP Hints
I just received the following email:
Hi Toni, After your last record search we did some research of our own – we might've found something interesting. Take a look – see if it matches the person you were looking for. Is this the same person? William Green Record set: Census Year: 1939 Place: Plymouth C.B., Devon, England It's fairly close. The William Green I was searching for died in 1729.

Much like Ancestry's hints, then.

True but ancestry don't send you an email telling you they put effort into making such a mistake.

Ancestry do keep sending me emails telling me "Make new discoveries with hints.
View all of your hints XXXX, you have hints in XXXXXXXXXXXXXX family tree. View all hints Here are your most intriguing hints:" The hints in the email are always the same few, and are not intriguing at all. But they are actually records relating to people in my tree. I'm sure they must be sending out emails with wrong hints to some people, though. |

Ancestry are really annoying with their hints. They send them, I don't look at them because I'd already found the documents they're suggesting years ago, so they keep on and on sending the same hints.
