Default Mary Saunders

Name - "official" name and what they were known as
Mary Saunders

Date and place of birth
1801 (1802 on census) Aveton Gifford, Devon

Names of parents
Roger and Ann (née Ryder)

Date and place of baptism - if applicable
16th August 1801 Aveton Gifford, Devon

Details of each of his or her marriages - if any
She may or may not have been in Ireland prior to 1841 with the husband she has on that census. 4 children were born in Ireland 1827-1836. The next ones were born in Bigbury 1839-1846. The first 4 may have been her step children.... but it was a bit late to start having children at 38 don't you think???
The only husband I know about is William Powell (born Wales) from their last daughter's birth cert (my ancestor).

Occupation(s) - if any

Addresses where they lived (including county if in UK) - and please list which censuses you have or haven't found him/her on (if s/he lived in census times!).
1841-1881 Bigbury Village, Devon

Date, place and cause of death
1888 'Kingsbridge' district aged 88 (am about to order cert)

Date and place of burial.

Details of will / administration of their estate - if applicable

Memorial inscription - if any

ooo - Brilliant!! Thanks Merry.

Next question : how do I go about asking for them?

EDIT:
The question was answered on Research "Army Records" by Kiterunner & Margaret in Burton

William signed up in Dublin when he was 20 in 1812. He served in Gibraltar, Spain, France and Canada (where he injured his arm). He was discharged after 22 years service (21 years 358 days lol!) at the age of 42 in 1834.

Now the mystery is how Mary & William met.. He was from Wales, she was from Devon. Did they both go to Dublin independently and meet there? or did he come to Devon? or she go to Wales? .... I guess I may never know
