Can anyone find Joseph's birth using the new GRO search? I've tried Hiron, Heron and Isles, and less specific search criteria each time. Nothing.

I'm probably missing something really obvious... are there some batches of births not yet uploaded or something?

I can't find him, but interested to see that one of the other names with the same volume and page number, Harriet Cook, comes up with MMN Iles. Could be correct, but I can't find a way to check. And another name with that volume and page number, Ellen Knight, doesn't come up. So maybe there was a problem with transcribing that page? Is there any particular reason why you want to find it on the new GRO index, though, since you have the information already?

No Kate, I just like to double-check things now that we have GRO search.

His sister Caroline Hiron (mmn Isles) does appear, but I can't find Joseph. It doesn't really matter, I was just curious why he doesn't appear.
