I've found a John Lucey, member of the company of weavers, supposedly admitted 4 Aug 1718 or possibly 1724 - need to check (edit: it says "the fifth year of the reign of King George, so definitely 1718) - whose son John Lucey, born at St Sepulchres in the City of London, was admitted to the company 5 Feb 1744, having been born after his father's admission. My John Lucey was a shipwright but he could just possibly be one of those whose occupation didn't match his guild, so just noting it here to look into it further.
